As of this moment, I am PREGNANT!
I cannot believe it worked again! Apparently once I get a little clomid in my husband and I are very efficient baby makers ;)
I am of course nervous, excited and scared sh*tless! I am only about 5 weeks right now! I go to the doctor on October 9th and am hoping for some confirmation, then 4 more weeks until we can see if there is a heartbeat! I know too well that losses occur so we are keeping it between us (and you, no one irl reads here!) for now, but hopefully we can shout it from the rooftops soon!

Where Have I Been?
I really don't know the answer to that question! Ha!
*I went to Country Fest at a local park type thing with my aunt and cousin! It was so much fun! I got to see Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Rodney Atkins, Lee Brice, Kellie Pickler and a few other artists for 65$! I also got to see a chick dancing on some dude she didn't know,she was really going to town. He was looking embarrassed. He had to have been the nicest man on the planet as he didn't even get rude with her. She was not the most attractive thing and she was sloppy drunk! Anyway it may have been a highlight. It was ridiculously funny!
*Zach and I spent a lot of time in various pools with our best friends. It really works out that they are mother and son!
*We went to the Zoo! Zach loved it! Animals are his favorite!
*Zach discovered music and he loves Led Zeppelin! Is it appropriate to have a Led Zeppelin themed 2nd b-day party? haha
*Zach can also raspberry a belly! So if you come over prepare to walk around with a soggy belly ;)
*Z says several words, my personal favorite is DAH DAM, which translates to goddamnit. WHOOPS!
*My dad apologized to me (surprising) but he still doesn't contact us, so pretty much the same situation there!
*We dealt with a few losses. My Uncle Jerry passed away from lung cancer and we all had a beer at his grave, we are classy like that! Also my first boss passed away, they were the sweetest and I always aspire to own an ice cream shop like they did. I got to catch up with some old friends at the calling hours so there was some sweet in that bitter.
*Zach is now almost 16 months old! He gets cuter and more ornery by the day! We are just enjoying watching him grow!
*My Husband and I went on our first weekend away with out the baby. It was miserable! We went camping on labor day weekend. Hurricane Isaac remnants were mucking up our weather and we endured several lightning storms! We didn't give up and come home though we stayed!
*The camping was a music festival. We are not hippies, but we do like festivals! My favorite band, Cornmeal, played for one of the last times with all of the members. I may have cried, don't judge me!
*I have been going to therapy, because I need it. I feel like it is helping me be a better and more relaxed human being! So YAY!
*My best friend had a baby boy! It was her second. He's adorable! Makes me want another right NOW!
*I went to see Jason Mraz on the 5th, It was awesome! I love him and his music is good for the soul! Go buy his latest cd and all of his cds, it will make you happy!
*My cousin had a baby yesterday! He is too cute, makes me sad they live so far away! Oh all of these babies.

My not-a-baby-anymore, baby!
Zach is now 12 months old! I cannot believe it! We had a fun but not pinterest worthy birthday party with all of our friends and family on his actual birthday! It was terrific!
At 12 months, Zach is:
*walking, almost full time!
*saying mama, dada and uh oh! I also think he says bad (to the dogs) whoops!
*Quite the hambone! He loves being the center of attention and if he isn't he will make sure that changes!
*loves music and dancing!
*thinks everything is hilarious!
*loves all of his birthday gifts, but the riding toys and little swingset are his favorites!
I can't wait to see what the next 12 months bring!

Breastfeeding
I have to talk about this because it is driving me nuts!
Women are the worst enemy of other women!
I am proud to still be breastfeeding my son, is it sometimes tough? Yes. Do I sometimes want to pull the plug on it? Yes. Do I think it is disgusting? NO!
I am seriously taken aback by the disdain for breastfeeding. We all know that the breast is best. We all know that if we were cave people that is what would be happening. Yet other women say it is disgusting. That I am disgusting. Possibly pedophilic because I decided to breastfeed my baby past a year. I don't tell them I think they are disgusting for giving their child hormone filled cow's milk. So why can't they lay off?
I intend to raise a son who sees breasts not only sexually but as a functioning part of the female anatomy. So deal with it.
I don't want you to talk down to me or tell me I'm disgusting. I'm not. I'm doing what I feel is best for my child!

BFN and an Ear infection!
Well I bought the more expensive test and it was negative! Target should not be allowed to sell those faulty tests, I researched them on the internet and will never buy them again! Oh well maybe next time! My baby is still a baby anyway! No hurry :)
Also Zach went to the doctor yesterday because he has been tugging on his ear! He has his very first illness an ear infection! He loves the pink medicine so that is a plus! He is feeling much better already! He slept from 8pm to 2:30am then from 2:30 to 5:30 and then until 8am, that is almost unheard of in these parts!

11 Months!
My baby boy is 11 months old! How in the world did that happen so quickly? It seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital!

*WALK!! YIKES!
* say mama, dada and uh oh!
* Has 6 teeth
* eats pretty much what we eat!
* still has blue eyes!
* still nurses (I'm proud of myself here)
* he plays peek a boo which he has been doing for awhile so I may have already written that elsewhere!
* still doesn't sleep through the night! help me!
So yesterday I took a pregnancy test and it was positive but this morning I took the same brand and it looked negative, according to reviews target tests are crap! Hopefully the positive was right! I'm buying an expensive one this afternoon! Anyone else get a false positive with a target up and up test before?

March or July?
Ohio has been having some crazy weather lately! The past few weeks have been in the 70's or 80's every day! It is wonderfully weird! Zach and I have gone for walks at the park or to play on the swings and slide everyday for 2 weeks! I am exhausted, he is not ;) Yesterday I purchased an infant carrier for the back, now my neck and arms hurt! Oh well he enjoys it!
We have also been hitting up the local ice cream parlor! I don't know what my husband was thinking buying a house two blocks from the best ice cream around! We are going to go broke :)
On March 19th Zach turned 10 months old! CRAZY! (I am in party planning mode!)
*He almost has 4 teeth (two bottom and his top lateral incisors (canines) and I think he has a few more coming in) I am kind of worried that he is not going to get his top middle teeth, I really hope they come through soon so I can stop worrying!
*He cruises EVERYWHERE! The doctor thinks he will be walking very soon, lord help us!
*He has been saying Mamamamamamama all of the time, no idea if he actually means me or if he is just having fun!
*His language development is pretty fantastic, he almost says uh-oh, so far he's really got the oh down and just this morning he said boo! He also really likes making the f noise, I'm hoping that he isn't gearing up to say a foul word that has frequently crossed my lips (whoops!) I swear I'm a nice girl!
*He looks more and more like a little boy everyday, it is breaking my heart, why can't they just stay babies?
*We are taking swimming lessons, he HATES them! As soon as we get in the pool he starts whining and does not stop until we are out! All of the other parents look at us with pity! I plan to keep taking him until the whining subsides, mean mom!
* He weighs about 20lbs now and is about 29 inches long!
I am having so much fun planning his first birthday party! We are going to have it at the park near our house, so hopefully this gorgeous weather sticks around until then! I'm going with a woodland outdoorsy theme! I'm making my own invitation using GIMP (it is basically a free photoshop) it is awesome and I'm having so much fun! My computer savvy husband thinks that if I wanted to I could do web design! I told him I would think about it! I will post a picture of the invite when I'm done with it!
Who did you invite to your children's first birthday party? I feel like I have to invite a lot of miscellaneous family members (that sounds bad, but some of these people have never met Zach, they are like 2nd cousins of my mom and we are close to some but not all, I feel like if I invite the ones we are close to I should invite all so as not to cause friction) so I'm curious to know how some of you decided on whom to invite!
I have been reading blogs but I rarely write! I have been running my butt off trying to make friends and get my confidence levels up. I'm doing okay on that journey but I still have a lot of work to do! I'm thinking about seeing a therapist to help me over the hump and to deal with some residual hurt over the fact that my dad and I haven't spoken and probably won't. It is hard to think that your parent doesn't care about you. Ugh! I hope that I never slip up with Zach, it is a big fear of mine! I just always want him to know I love him! I will probably go the extreme opposite and smother him with love! Poor thing :)
Hopefully I will be back sooner so I don't write another book!

Happy Valentine's Day!
I hope everyone has a delightful and LOVE filled holiday! We celebrated early! We went out to dinner at our favorite little Thai place and then we got some coffee and hot chocolate! I got a Kindle Fire! Woohoo! Love my husband! I got him a card and a baby free evening ;)
My Kindle Fire is so fun! I have read a ton of books already also my old Kindle will make a nice camping kindle! We are planning our first camping trip for sometime after Zach's first birthday!
Zach is 9 Months old on the 19th! He has had a bit of a development explosion!
*He has 2 teeth!
*He bites! OUCH!
*He crawls! Fast!
*He pulls himself up on everything!
*He cruises all around the sectional!
*He basically only wants to feed himself and is off the puree!
*He refuses to sleep through the night unless he is in our bed (BAH, not even sure how we started it, but I wish we hadn't!)
I can't believe how fast the time has gone! I can't wait to have another baby (Am I crazy?)! All of my friends are getting pregnant again and it is making me consider number 2! My husband has already got us having 4 so I figure I might as well get number 2 out of the way fast!

8 Months
Zach is 8 months, yikes! Where has the time gone?
He is still working on crawling, he gets closer everyday! I think by February he will be full on crawling! EEK!
He tries to pull up on everything but doesn't have the coordination just yet!
He is getting his first tooth (lower left incisor)!
I am planning his first birthday bash! We are having it at the park a few blocks from our house! I think we are going with a bug/picnic theme! I'm going to attempt to do everything myself (food, invitations etc...)!

Confidence
First, Zach is 7 months, 8 months on Thursday!
He is almost crawling!
Tries to pull up!
Eats Yogurt and finger foods as well as purees!
Is still Breastfed, and cloth diapered which makes me feel good!!
So on to the title of this post, Confidence. I lack it. Seriously lack it.
I always feel like people are putting me down even when they aren't.
It is hurting my relationships and it hurts me.
I need to work on this.
